Set up your Success with Body Language - Body language is the key to communicating with your dog and beginning your partnership and training. In this session we'll teach our dogs to go right, left and stop with our body. It all starts with understanding pressure and how to apply pressure with your body. By the end of this session, you'll be able to: ✅ Understand how body language influences your dog's movement and decision-making. ✅ Use pressure correctly to guide your dog without creating fear or confusion. ✅ Teach left, right and stop commands using body position before introducing verbal or whistle cues. ✅ Use a rake effectively as an extension of your body and communication. ✅ Recognise common body language mistakes that reduce confidence and slow learning. ✅ Develop cleaner movement, better balance and greater respect for stock and handler space. ✅ Begin building the foundation for reliable verbal and whistle commands. You'll learn how to communicate clearly with your dog through body language, creating a confident, responsive and willing working partner before progressing to verbal and whistle commands.
