On the road again, Gary made some time on his trip to Broken Hill for a dog school [read more about Gary's schools] to chat with the ABC's Kristina Rosengren about all things working dog (and human) training and the importance of the partnership between dog and handler.
The significance and partnership that working dogs play in day-to-day life for people on properties of all sizes across the country and the world can't be overlooked.
"Some people just love their dogs to bits, and they're widely called their best mate," Gary says in the story.
"Their dogs [have] helped them get through sticky situations.
"I know people that [say] their dogs actually helped them through the drought."
